  • Is Drovers Rest suitable for contractors and long project stays?

    Yes. We provide reliable, clean and comfortable accommodation ideal for contractors and long-term business travellers.

  • What time is check-in?

    Standard check-in time is 2pm.

  • Do you offer late check-in?

    Yes, we have a night bell available for late check-ins as our Manager is on-site. Please contact us in advance to arrange a late arrival.

  • What time is check-out?

    Check-out is 10:00am.

  • What time does reception close?

    Reception hours are 6:00am to 8:00pm Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 6:00pm on Friday, and 8:00am to 6:00pm on weekends. If you are arriving outside these hours, please contact us in advance to arrange check-in.

  • Is breakfast included?

    Yes. Complimentary continental breakfast is provided daily. We also provide complimentary bottled water and cookies in your room. 

  • Is WiFi available?

    Yes, complimentary WiFi is available in all rooms and cabins.

  • Are rooms air-conditioned?

    Yes. All rooms and cabins are fully air-conditioned.

  • Do you offer long-term accommodation?

    Yes. Many guests stay for extended work contracts.

  • Are there cooking facilities?

    Self-contained cabins include kitchen facilities. All rooms include a microwave and tea/coffee facilities.

  • Do you have non-smoking rooms?

    Yes, all rooms at Drovers Rest Motel are non-smoking. There are plenty of picturesque outdoor areas for smokers to relax. 

  • Is parking available?

    Yes, most rooms have a dedicated car park located close by. There is also a large front car park suitable for additional vehicles, including utes with attached trailers and small trucks.

  • Do you have pet-friendly rooms?

    Yes. Four rooms are pet-friendly. Pets must not sleep on beds.

  • Do you have accessible accommodation?

    Yes. One disability suitable self-contained cabin is available.

  • Is there onsite dining?

    No, however, we offer a small range of pre-prepared meals available for purchase from reception.

  • Are there dining options nearby?

    Yes, there are several dining options within a few minutes of the motel, including the Workers Club, Black Nugget Hotel, golf club, takeaway outlets, and fast food options, with many of these offering delivery. 

  • Is there laundry available for guests?

    Yes, a complimentary guest laundry is available. As it is also used by housekeeping, please check with reception for suitable times to access it.
